February postcard: Imbolc.
It's too late now.
Today is Imbolc, or St. Brigid’s Day, the traditional first day of spring in Ireland. It’s also a public holiday, as of 2023. I was here during the first one—I was surprised that my usual writing pub in Roundwood was closed, so I went to another, where they told me why. They seemed a little surprised, too, as if gifted with a new dress and breathless at their good fortune.
