Greetings from Edinburgh, which is gearing up for Hogmanay--a much bigger celebration than Christmas itself, apparently. I'm right in the city center, and I've come to dislike crowds since Covid, so I'm content to carry on as normal with a nice book by the fire. Though I bet I'll hear the crowds. Thank God for Swedish earplugs.
